A word on the person who personally oversees
all market research programs at TAI, working on a confidential basis for a select
clientele. That is Dr. Jim Trullinger, Ph.D., president of the company.

Trullinger
Dr. Trullinger got an early start in the
research, reporting, and analysis field as a decorated U.S.
Foreign Service Officer assigned to USAID in Vietnam. There he
regularly reported on efficacy of various economic development and refugee
relief programs.
Dr. Trullinger also directed a major philanthropic group
overseas, Pearl S. Buck International, where,
among other duties, he managed various research programs.
Dr. Trullinger graduated from Cornell University, holds an M.P.A. and a Ph.D.,
and conducted research under
grant from the East-West Center.
He authored two books based on this research, the most recent published by
Stanford University Press. The earlier book was
singled out by the American Library Association as an "outstanding academic book of
the year." He has some facility in 5 foreign languages.
Dr. Trullinger has extensive business experience, including
years at Disney's former Fairchild Publications unit
as Circulation Sales Manager for some 30 newspapers and magazines. He directed a
market research division for Rothstein-Tauber Marketing Services, with clients including
Kodak, IBM, Fidelity Investments, Citicorp, Lever Brothers, etc. He
also has experience in public opinion and political polling.
At TAI, Dr. Trullinger oversees and in some instances
personally conducts research programs for a range of prestigious clients. He
personally helps clients design surveys and develop business plans, advises on marketing programs and
sometimes trains in market research methodology. For additional
